Rebel Challenge with Team Muscle Makers for UCMD

On January 14-15, 2017, I’m running the Star Wars 10k and Half Marathon (RunDisney’s Rebel Challenge) for Team Muscle Makers for UCMD.

Team Muscle Makers’ mission is to raise awareness for Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (UCMD) is a rare form of muscular dystrophy with only a few hundred documented cases world wide. As a team, it is our goal to raise money for the research for new treatments and, one day, a cure for UCMD. To do this we run! We’re making muscles, one mile at a time.

This is my first time running with Team Muscle Makers for UCMD but friends have run with them before and I love being part of this team! 99% of the proceeds benefit Rady’s Children’s Hospital to help kids like my friend Parker, who has muscular dystrophy.

Several raffles will be held for donors.  Prizes include a Thursday ticket to Salt Lake Comic Con, a beautiful Star Wars print, a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy of Star Wars The Force Awakens and more.  A full list of raffle items and dates that raffles will take place is coming soon.  Each dollar is worth one entry into the raffle of your choice.  Refer a friend and that is good for two additional entries.  Click the Donate image below to reach the donation site.
